An altered matchbox

On zuzu's forum an altered matchbox swap has been organised and I have finally finished my contribution. I hope it now looks like a trinket box :-)

TMTA :- MUSIC

My first thought when the theme of music came up was either to do something pertaining to two of the worlds most famous artists both dead Freddie Mercury & Queen or Elvis "the King" Presley.

I decided in the end to go with more simply theme with which to portray " Madam Butterfly "

This is my entry for the TMTA numbers. This reminds me of a little childs school chair that they might learn on.

Party Hats Swap

Zuzu's forum is a hive of activity and a fellow crafter and friend Mandy organised a party hats swap I think I only took part in the same swap that Mandy had organised on http://www.atcards.com/ . Anyway these will give thegist of what I produced for the swap.

My first Altered Domino

It's actually two mini dominos made into a book.

On Zuzu's forum there's an altered domino swap. I hadn't ever tried but enjoyed watching the master at work when she was altering similar such items.....

I wasn't too happy with the finished article but my mentor and inspiration guru has convinced me that the finished article is OK ....

I'll let you be the judge of that ;-)

Let's hope the recipient BB a fellow crafter and forum member will like it even though she's not too keen on oriental.
